At ContentWatch we realize that Internet safety is not just one person's commitment or one company's solution. A variety of resources and efforts are needed to keep the internet safe and to break addictions. That is why we are so excited to join the Be Aware: Porn Harms campaign by Morality in Media.
Yesterday, Porn Harms kicked off a four week awareness campaign that will focus on a different topic each week: pornography addiction, harms to children, affect on sex trafficking, and violence against women. We will be participating this week on the topic of addiction and next week on the topic of harms to children. Thursday, July 14th, we will be part of a live Webcast at 4pm EST, talking about Net Nanny as a solution to overcoming pornography addiction and our upcoming CWise Certification. You are invited to view the broadcast here.
On Friday, July 15th, we will be involved with a Twitter feed running all day about questions people have regarding pornography addiction and the solutions available. Be sure to use #pornaddict to tune in and be part of the conversation.
The following week we will we will be giving away free copies of Net Nanny from Porn Harms' Facebook page on July 21st. Once you like Porn Harms on Facebook, send us an email and we will give away 500 free licenses. While you're at it, be sure to like us on Facebook, as well.
We hope that by this association you will be able to find additional resources that will help you and your family. Porn Harms is a great place to learn more about the effects of pornography on marriages, families, children, and society. Some of the stories are very disturbing. The site also includes a number of resources to help those struggling with pornography addiction. While we focus on creating a safe online environment through our products, we feel our partnership with Porn Harms is a good fit on providing more resources for those who need it.
