Files were deleted previously, but are not being deleted anymore

ContentCleanup • 1 March 2006

If files are not being deleted after deleting them through ContentCleanup it's because Windows cannot delete them.

There is no difference between someone deleting files and ContentCleanup deleting files. If files cannot be deleted, regardless of the method used to delete them, the problem lies in Windows having difficulty deleting them.

Please contact your computer manufacturer for assistance in troubleshooting files that cannot be deleted.
