Quality Assurance Engineer

Fulltime

Develop and execute test cases and procedures according to developed test plan. Participate in design reviews, bringing the customers perspective to development. Act as a liaison between the customers and the development team. Establish and maintain high standards of quality and customer commitment within the engineering organization. Perform regression tests, and ensure that the stability and quality of the product(s) improves.

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah (Greater Salt Lake City Area). Local candidates only, no relocation.

Primary Responsibilities

• Install and test applications (release testing, reproduce customer issues, etc.)
• Test and validate new features
• Verify/improve content categorization of web content
• Write and execute test cases
• Write bug reports
• Represent the customer in design meetings, bug scrub meetings, etc.

Skills & Experience

• 1 - 3 years of experience in Customer Support, Testing or Quality Assurance
• Experience with bugzilla a plus.
• Experience with testopia a plus.
• Enthusiastic, motivated problem-solver dedicated to quality work and customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge and experience with structured testing environments and procedures a plus
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems
• Proficient with Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista.
• Linux & Mac experience a plus
• Knowledge of computer internals and internet protocol fundamentals
• Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field a plus
