To ContentCleanup Customers:

In April 2004, ContentWatch began to transition its products to a subscription model beginning with ContentProtect. We moved to a subscription model to offer greater value to customers. The advantages to a subscription model are:

Constant updates - ContentWatch delivers new updates to its product on a regular basis. We add new features and enhancements and fix issues with the software. Your subscription ensures that you get the latest new features and enhancements from ContentWatch.
Free phone support - As long as your subscription is current you can call our customer support line free of charge.

On June 6, 2006, a communication was sent to all ContentCleanup customers informing them that ContentCleanup would be transitioning to a subscription model and that customers would need to transition from the "Web" version of ContentCleanup to the "Subscription" version of ContentCleanup. We also informed customers that as of September 30, 2006 that ContentWatch would discontinue the availability and support for the Web version of ContentCleanup.

On July 7, 2006, another communcation was sent to all ContentCleanup customers informing them that a new version of ContentCleanup (version 2.1) had been released and was available for upgrade and download. However, for those customers who had recently purchased the Web version of ContentCleanup, we extended the use of the product through September of 2006 while others were given the opportunity to upgrade at that time.

If you have failed to receive the communications we have sent, we apologize for the inconvenience we may have caused. Please proceed to the upgrade process or call customer service (1-800-485-4008).

ContentCleanup 2.1 is now available!

As of October 12, 2006 (previously communicated), ContentWatch no longer offers or supports the Web version of ContentCleanup. ContentCleanup has been updated to version 2.1 which is a desktop application that you download and install on your computer. If you have not already upgraded to ContentCleanup 2.1, you can receive a $10 discount ($14.99 promotion price, normally $24.99) by going to My Account and clicking the 'Buy' button in the right hand column to take advantage of this offer.

When you upgrade, you will install and run the new ContentCleanup on your own computer. The old "Web" version will not become available.

ContentCleanup 2.1 New Features or Enhancements

Comprehensive Scan - The scan engine in ContentCleanup is the same patent-pending dynamic analysis engine used in ContentWatch's #1 rated Internet filtering product - Net Nanny. The dynamic analysis engine has the ability to scan and categorize each file-type based on its content, where it came from, and several other factors.
Thumbnail View - Allows you to view each file in a "thumbnail view" to determine if it is suitable to view before opening the file for further inspection.
Blur Technology - Allows you to view images in a "blurred" mode so you avoid exposure to objectionable or questionable images.
New File Types - ContentCleanup will scan and categorize all Internet related files including, Images, Video, Audio, and Text files.
Categorization - ContentCleanup analyzes every file on your computer and categorizes each questionable file by content category.
