It is a common misconception that Mac’s are immune to viruses, spyware and adware. Unfortunately this myth has lead to a lot of infected PCs, but more importantly many believe that parental controls are just as unnecessary. It’s critical to know that, although the same inappropriate content can be found on a Mac or Windows PC, Net Nanny has you covered and protected.
On June 1st ContentWatch released Net Nanny for Mac 2.0. This much anticipated release gives parents the flexibility and control not found in any other parental control product for Mac. In fact, Net Nanny for Mac 2.0 enhances the existing parental controls found in Mac OS X, giving users the features necessary to protect their families from the modern dangers found on the Internet.
Here are some of the features highlighted in Net Nanny for Mac 2.0:
Web (Remote) Administration — You can customize profiles and view reports from any Internet connection.
New Filter Settings — Net Nanny for Mac 2.0 can now block new protocols such as FTP, SSH, SSL, and online games.
Anti-Predator Feature — You can now block chat and instant messenger conversations with predator language.
Customized Safe (White) List - Net Nanny permits parents to create customized lists of unacceptable or acceptable Websites. For example, parents could set up a list (white list) of friendly sites that don't necessarily get filtered.
External Disk Blocking - Net Nanny allows you to block applications from installing by disabling external disks and preventing volumes from mounting.
Click here to see a full list of enhancements and features.
No need to uninstall if you have a previous version of Net Nanny for Mac, your settings will be retained, just click here to download and install the latest version.
Give it a try and let me know what you think.

I have actually been singularly unimpressed by your software for the Mac - there are numerous issues with site blocking; remote management is spotty, at best; and system files appear to be corrupted as often as not. Unfortunately, there's not much else out there, or I would quickly change for another product that actually delivers what it promises.
