New users are given information on how to set their privacy settings and include settings for Timeline as part of the registration process. Google Play’s Anti-Malware Solution Discovered
Malicious Android apps are becoming an issue. It seems like once a week I read a story about a new random app that steals personal info from an Android mobile device. Google is aware of this and in an attempt to keep Android safe and protect their own reputation, have started a project to both protect Android devices and stop malicious apps or “malware” from getting posted in the Google Play Market Place. -

ICANN, which is The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, is an association in charge of assigning and coordinating all web addresses. Last year, ICANN announced plans to sell a new .xxx suffix for pornography sites.

I have always heard stories about new Android security issues, but to be honest, I usually ignore them and chalk them up to “some guy installed a random rogue app and it stole his contact list.” Typically, my philosophy has been just don’t install random apps or apps from non-reputable sources, and you don’t have anything to worry about, but I have recently found out that many Android exploits, which take advantage of security flaws, can also be found in popular or well-known apps available from legitimate marketplaces.
