County Judge Seemed Willing to Trade His Job for Pornography
Judge Joseph Polito of Will County, Illinois admitted to repeatedly using his courthouse PC for viewing hard-core pornography on the Internet. He also admits that despite knowing there was a policy against viewing pornography at work, he kept searching for it--even after being blocked by software designed to keep staff on-task.

A Minnesota Anti-Bully Starts “Nice” Movement
With kids everywhere going back to school, anti-bullying initiatives are a hot topic. Most programs are run by teachers and parents, adults with an outside perspective. But at Osseo High School in Minnesota, seventeen-year-old Kevin Curwick has taken the lead by starting a Twitter account, @OsseoNiceThings, where he compliments classmates because he wants “them to feel welcomed, be happy about what they are and what they contribute to Osseo.”

New children's health study shows parents are worried about Internet Safety
A new study published by Clinical Pediatrics (July 26), a peer-reviewed monthly journal for pediatricians, revealed health-related issues parents are most concerned about for their children. The survey was completed by 1,119 parents from various demographic groups.
