The most famous wiki is Wikipedia, which anyone with an account can edit. Most filters allow these types of websites, which can have objectionable material, because they do not have the ability to search and examine web pages in real-time. Net Nanny has the ability to check pages in real-time, so it can filter out any objectionable material, while still allowing access to sites that are appropriate." I am currently using "Restrict browsing to specific sites" because I need stricter control. However, I have noticed that if I add Wikipedia or YouTube to the list of websites, there is not any "real-time" filtering of those websites. There is no option to continue the real-time filtering simultaneously to "Restrict browsing to specific sites." I would like to allow access to Wikipedia but I cannot because it will be unfiltered.
