My husband is a porn addict and has been since he was a teen. We have always had God at the center of our 15 year marriage but it has stained our relationship to its limits. He has always hated the porn addiction but felt powerless to master it. In the past he had tried praying and rededicating his life and talking to others who had had the porn issue. But nothing had helped because there was no "program" or follow up or way to control the internet.I had finally hit my limit of struggling with the "other woman" that wasn't there (porn) after 15 years. I told him I was leaving if we didn't get help, which he willing did. I contacted our rabbi and supported us. He said porn is like any other addiction and put my husband on a program that includes homework and follow up. He is finally free and a different person.
